Competitions

At Momentum Dance Co., all students are invited to participate in dance competitions, providing a valuable opportunity to enhance their performance skills and gain experience on stage.

To be eligible, it is compulsory that students be enrolled in and attend classes in the genre they wish to compete in, as well as enrolled in and regularly attending ballet class.

For the best possible outcome, it is recommended that students also take additional classes such as Stretch and Strengthen, and the Technique class attached to Lyrical, Contemporary classes, and Strength and Conditioning class attached to Acro classes

Private lessons are required to learn competition routines, and students are expected to attend their designated competition classes until the end of the competition season.

Participation in competitions is based on the teacher’s assessment of the student's readiness.

Students must own at least an MDC Track Jacket to be eligible to represent the studio at competitions.
