Principal Teacher/ Director

Hi, I’m Karlee!

An experienced dance teacher, choreographer, and performer with a distinguished background in the dance industry. Born and raised in Perth - WA, I developed a passion for dance at a young age of 2 , training extensively across a wide variety of styles. In the second half of 2021, I moved to Manjimup with my partner to share my love of dance with the community, teaching at a local dance school and inspiring students to grow through movement and creativity. With a Diploma in Dance and Theatre Arts and CSTD training, I have built a career dedicated to excellence in performance, technique, and education.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of performing and choreographing for prestigious events and organisations. My work on professional stages has allowed me to showcase dynamic, high-energy routines while collaborating closely with choreographers to execute innovative performances that captivate audiences. These experiences have refined my technical expertise, adaptability, and ability to excel in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

In my teaching career, I’ve worked with students of all ages and skill levels, specialising in a diverse range of dance styles, including jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, ballet, contemporary, commercial, and acrobatics. My journey began at Kerry Decorsey Dance Gallery, where I developed and choreographed original routines, mentored young dancers, and cultivated strong relationships with students and their families. I have also had the privilege of working closely with industry leaders, learning from their expertise and further refining my own teaching and choreographic approach.

As a teacher, I believe that dance is far more than movement—it’s a powerful avenue for building self-esteem, forming meaningful connections, and embracing a healthy, active lifestyle. I am passionate about fostering not only skilled dancers but also confident, well-rounded individuals. I take great pride in creating inclusive, inspiring spaces where dancers can thrive. My choreography has been featured at community events such as the AG Show and Cherry Festival, strengthening the bond between the arts and the local community.

In addition to my dance expertise, I hold a Bachelor of Psychology and Counselling, which enriches my teaching approach. This academic background allows me to support my students’ mental well-being and personal growth alongside their artistic development. I am committed to nurturing resilient, confident individuals who are prepared to shine both on stage and in life.Dance has been my lifelong passion, and I am honoured to share it with others. Whether you are new to dance or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to guide you with professionalism, creativity, and dedication. Thank you for visiting my website—I look forward to welcoming you to the studio and helping you achieve your dance goals!

Ballet and Technique Teacher

Hi, I’m Daisy.

Growing up in the charming town of Bridgetown, I have dedicated my life to pursuing and sharing my love for dance. My journey began at the age of two, and since then, I have undertaken comprehensive classical ballet training through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus. This foundation in ballet was complemented by extensive training in lyrical and contemporary dance, enabling me to explore a wide range of styles and techniques.

Over the years, I have successfully completed multiple RAD examinations, participated in advanced intensives, and competed throughout the southwest region as both a soloist and a member of competitive teams. In 2023, I was honored to receive a contract with the Perth Youth Ballet Company, where I had the privilege of training and performing under the mentorship of esteemed industry professionals.

Beyond my own performance experience, I have developed a passion for teaching and sharing the transformative power of dance. Over the past few years, I have taught at local dance schools in Manjimup, focusing on cultivating strong technical foundations and fostering strength, discipline, and artistry in my students.

I believe dance is a unique meeting point of sport and the arts, providing an avenue for creativity, self-expression, and physical development. More than just a skill or hobby, dance instills core values such as discipline, resilience, and teamwork, and it fosters relationships that extend well beyond the studio walls. My goal as a teacher is to inspire the next generation of dancers, helping them carry these invaluable qualities with them through all aspects of life.
